Engineers from Northern Gas Networks (NGN) are currently working in the Marsden area of Huddersfield to remove water from the gas pipework. This has been caused by the recent poor weather.

At present, 46 properties on Reddisher Road, Ainsley Lane, Waters Road and Puril Clough are affected.  The gas supply to the majority of the affected properties has been turned off while we pump water from the pipework. We now need access to the remaining properties to turn off the gas supply at the meter before we can start work to restore supplies.

If you were not at home when we called, we have left a card with our contact details so that you can arrange for an engineer to come straight out. All our of our engineers wear ID so that you can identify who they are.  Please ask to see their badge before they enter your property.
