Updated information this evening from Chris Nevison, Operations Manager, NGN said: “I can confirm we are site and the team is working hard to remedy the situation as soon as possible. We have been in contact with people on the Priority Services Register and made provisions for them.
“We will continue to provide updates to customers affected and on our social media channels over the course of the evening.”
An incident room is onsite at PPP Infrastructure, Bessingby Road, YO16 4QY. Northern Gas Network staff are onsite here should anyone need to speak to them.
Northern Gas Networks (NGN), the gas distributor for the North of England, is on site in the YO16 4 area of Bridlington today (Thursday 11th July), following a loss of gas supply to approximately 320 properties. Properties affected are in following streets:

Chris Nevison, Operations Manager at NGN said: “We’ve brought in teams locally and from other areas of our network to ensure that we can restore gas to customers as quickly as possible.
“We are now in the process of isolating the gas supply for all affected customers, and updating them on next steps while we work to resolve the issue. All customers who are signed up to the Priority Services Register will be contacted by our Customer Care team and offered additional support while they are without gas.”
