Northern Gas Networks (NGN), the gas distributor for the North of England, is carrying out essential work to ensure the continued safe and reliable supply of gas to customers in Beverley.
The ageing metal pipework is being upgraded to ensure a safe and reliable supply of gas to customers now while getting the network ready to transport alternative greener fuels in future.
NGN’s Customer Care team is holding a customer drop-in session at Toll Gavel Church Hall (Walkergate entrance) on Tuesday 9th July between 5.30pm and 7.30pm to discuss the upcoming project.
The session will provide an opportunity for customers to find out more about the work, any traffic management planned for the project, and raise any questions or concerns with the team.
Chris Keith, Operations Manager for Northern Gas Networks, said: “We would like to invite local residents and businesses in Beverley to our drop-in session to discuss the works and meet our team.
“We want to assure customers who may be affected by the project that we will work closely with the community to minimise disruption as much as possible.”
For further information about the work please contact NGN’s Customer Care Team on 0800 040 7766 or email: customercare@northerngas.co.uk.
